Internet of Things Lab

Internet of Things (IoT) laboratory allows conducting research in several key areas that include but are not limited to:

  • Interoperability of protocols and services;
  • Security and privacy mechanisms for IoT;
  • Designing and implementation of communication methods and data aggregation systems for the Internet of Things as well as the development of domain computational services, including decision support systems;
  • Integration of computing, communications, measurement and actuating services.

The laboratory equipment consists of computational server, programmable routers and variety of programmable microcomputers and microcontrollers with different kind of communication interfaces, sensor sets and development kits. The computational and functional resources of the IoT laboratory may be extended with servers of remaining laboratories as well as the other equipment, e.g. disk arrays, traffic generators.
